After a year and a half spent publicly professing their love for each other, Machine Gun Kelly went down on one knee and popped the question.
Megan Fox took to Instagram to share a clip of the proposal with a beautiful caption that celebrated their journey together.
“– he asked me to marry him. And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes,” she posted.
In the clip, the rapper turned actor proposed under a towering banyan tree as a shocked Fox knelt down beside him.
“In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree, we asked for magic …” she wrote.
While the proposal was simple and intimate, the engagement ring was a bit more ostentatious. The breathtaking emerald and diamond engagement ring has a deeply personal meaning as Machine Gun Kelly revealed on his Instagram.
While a traditional sparkler may have one stone that takes centre stage, this one has two and is a custom piece that features Kelly‘s birthstone (diamond) and Fox‘s (emerald).
