Boiphemelo Marimba Band is a 4-piece marimba ensemble performing a unique fusion of traditional African and contemporary western music. Established in 2004 by Sally Kuiper on a farm school called Sawmills Combined, where we were attending at the time.
Their unique music, with its blend of African and western styles, is designed to incite dancing, joy and participation from our audiences. Each note played has a warm resonance and produce bright effect. Their music has a universal quality that appeals to all ages and background, unifying people beyond race, culture and creed.
They offer entertainment at, corporate and government functions, weddings and unveiling of tombstones, birthday parties, festivals, anniversaries.
